Rear gear oil change...

Not sure if this is a good thing but hey I'm getting good at this.

I did an engine oil change and a rear diff oil change in no time on Friday.

I change out the rear diff fluid every time I do an oil service as well but know the reality of the situation. Our final drives fail due to an issue with shimming and not the lack of fluid changes at periodic intervals.

I go this extra mile to check the old fluid for shavings or any other peculiarities. Also gives me something else to tinker with so I'm that more familiar with the bike and how she works. Do I sleep better at night knowing my diff fluid is pristine? Nah. Will it be something I note to the lucky person who buys this K12GT from me? You bet.

Just another reason the wife thinks I'm OCD...
