I have aftermarket pads on and brake sensors don't fit. Now brake light stays on. ABS module is also shot. Now both lights are showing on the dash.

The break pad sensor wire can be sorted to fool the system. Easy fix. The abs module needs to be rebuilt. Do a quick search. Some where here recently was posted of a shop doing affordable rebuilds. Just can't remember the name right now. I don't think you can turn off / disable the lights permanently...but could be wrong. Even if you have a GS-911 and reset them they would just show up again until the faults are fixed.

Freaking spell check....sorry...my fault.

Shorted...not sorted.

Yes. You can. The sensor is a mini little pad that when it wears through the circuit is broken. You need to put that circuit back together. Do a quick search around here. I'm sure some one has documented it. Very common issue.

BTW. That's assuming that it was your sensor worn in the first place. If not you have another issue.
