Pilot Road 3's

Hey, I just changed over my K1200 GT to Michelin Pilot Road 3's from Mez Z8's. It's been 3 days and I'm impressed! I'm feeling great road feedback and extra quick. If I can get the road mileage that others have posted, I'm gonna be real happy. Thanks to those in the Forum that post their Tire experiences, 'cause I've definitely benefited from the advice.

PR3 and fender extender

Just replaced my PR3's at 10,325 miles. The rear was still useable for a few more miles as
was the front. Unbelievable.

I'm not known for being "kind" to tires but this did include a 5700 mile road trip and I treat the
bike a bit more gently when I'm traveling. However the trip included a couple thousand miles
of chip seal on the way north (alcan hwy) so I'm very impressed.

Similar mileage on my wife's Norge though that bike has a habit of picking up nails and etc
and flatting the rear tire (3 times in the last two years) while traveling the same roads as me
and I had no flats. My GT has the fender extender and hers didn't so I've just added one to
her Norge under the guess that maybe the front tire picks up the offending item and slings it
at the rear tire. I'm skeptical of this theory but who knows. Fenda Extenda is cheap though
not very long thus my doubts.
