K1200GT K1300GT Airbox Fettle

Hi Folks,

I wonder if anyone can help ? many years ago 7 infact, Nexus-6 posted a how
to do post on Fettleing your air box, he described in photo's and instructions how to strip
down your bike to gain access to the airbox and take the stepper motor out and lets say
improve its function.
I followed his instructions last year and succeeded to solve the problem temporary, and a
little later had to repeat this procedure but next time a new stepper motor was fitted .

Now from memory I think I can do this procedure again but just wanted a safety blanket
as the link to "word doc" and html version now do not connect to the server !

So what I'm asking is has anyone the link or a copy of the photos and instructions to hand
or does anyone have a similar photo shoot of the said procedure...

Many thanks Mack..........

Here you go. The airbox fettle text with pictures. In two parts because of file size limitation for uploads to K1200GT site. It is a PDF, so everyone should be able to read it.

Good luck with the fettle. Last update I read about the fettle was that it didn't work long term to solve the problem with the airbox.....

P.S. If you see something on the internet that you like, you can save the file to your own computer. In this case, right click on each pdf and select the option to save on your computer, then the files won't "disappear" on you when the site goes down.
