What A Pisser - Starter Switch

It is bad enuf that I live at work which is only 6 miles away so not much riding but thought I was gonna be walking home to come back with the trailer. I bitch slapped the switch a couple times and it started but has not worked again after I got home.
2009 K13GT and I hate to see what that is gonna cost. I was going to pop the top of the switch off but cannot figure what head is on the screws. I was hoping maybe cleaning would help the switch but until I can get the top off I am kinda stuck. It was replaced once under warranty long ago but I don't think it is going to get covered again.

Oh well at least I still have the 14 Ninja!!!!!

Switch gear on both sides are covered by a recent campaign (recall), take it into your dealer you should be covered

Yep you be right. Stopped in at Gateway BMW (St Louis, MO) and they said both switches, fuel pump and cam chain guard all have recalls and be covered. I told them I did the cc guard myself so they don't have to do it.

Life is good even tho they cannot do them till the end of the month. I have more bikes so I can easily live with that.
