Picked it up

The bike -- see, it's friggin' silver. BMW needs to hire better photographers.

And yes, that's me writing the check on the tank.

Congratulations!

I'm in LUST, great pictures!!!

Mine hasn't arrived yet, dealer called today, said their demo came in, yesterday afternoon late, they finished prepping it this morning, and he rode it for an hour or so. They "think' mine will arrive this afternoon, or maybe tomorrow. He assured me that I'll be riding it by the weekend. After waiting so long, these last days are torture

I agree, the "silver" (Crystal Grey Metallic) is beautiful. Here's hoping the you have many safe miles of smiles.

Congratulations...

Hey, I can't ride mine yet, but it is here...

And about the color - your eyes are different than mine. The color can be gray or gray/silver/hint of bronze metalic all at the same time. If you look closely at the third picture you get a hint. Its definitely more pronounced in person.

Looks great Jeff. Shouldn't feel like you are settling. Best of luck, drive safe, and it's just gorgeous. Did you say Randy's getting one too? I think I'm gonna put my company logo on the slab. Just love it; one of these days I may have mine . . . long complicated story. Hopefully by next week.

I am getting one. I could have one today, but I am going to wait for a Dark Graphite Metallic. Additionally, since I have a great relationship with the dealer I do business with, I want to let him take care of the really impatient customers first. The build date for the one I have selected is later this month, so it will likely be June before I pick it up.

congratulations Jeff

the bike looks great.
i will look forward to hearing your comments about the bike. i am so glad that you got your's this soon.
i have been thinking about trading the 2002 LT in on the GT. The question for me will be: will the GT be enough "LT" for my wife and "S" for me?

congrats again

It looks a hell of a lot better than the pictures that BMW showed us.

I can see you need to get rid of those ugly orange lights in the front.

Pirate should have them in clear in a month.

Best of ridding to you all.

Great pics. I especially appreciate seeing how the bike was strapped down in the back. I'll be trailering mine (when it arrives) to MotoGP and now have an idea of where to place the straps.
