2010 K1300 GT Exclusive Seat

I am absolutely besotted with my "new" K1300GT.

It is an Exclusive Edition, which came with all the bells and whistles, however it also has a strange seat. I have seen a few other EE models for sale around but I have yet to find one with the same seat as mine.

It has the BMW Logo stitched into the rear seat. Strangely the logo is partially obscured by the front seat.

Does anyone know if this was an option, or is it an aftermarket seat?

I'm no expert, but I think that's an aftermarket seat of some sort.

Is it heated?

I agree with Doug. It is an aftermarket seat. I would be very surprised if the use of the BMW logo was authorized by BMW.

Oh well. Aftermarket or not, it actually looks better with than without and there is a really nice textured effect to the leather. I like it. Amother 100 miles today and this bike is awesome!
