Final Drive Seal

2010 K1300GT.

Last week, I noticed a bit of oil around the final drive on the floor of my garage. It appears to be coming from the external seal.

Is this a DIY job or does it need to go in? Anyone know how complicated it is? how much it should cost?

I am assuming the final drive gear oil gets replaced at the same time?

Thanks.,

If you are talking about the outer seal, it is a DIY. You can get the seal from Max BMW online.
