Shifting Sweet Spot

Having moved past the breakin mileage, now the fun begins. My experience with the RT and LT always finds the BMW likes the rpms to be in the upper reaches for smooooth shifts. Having suffered through the BMW thunk when shifting at less than 5K, today was the day to search for that elusive sweet spot. At 9k it shifted so smooth that I thought I had missed the gear, nope, it was just that smooth. Even as low as 7k it is good.
I know this tranmission will mellow with age, but I think I found the zone on my bike.

Doesn't the engine just sound sweet at 9000 revs? Our dealer has a K1200R with a Lazer pipe and apparantly it sounds incredible. What an engine!

Watch out for your licence. Even in first, 9000 rpm can't be that slow.
