Lightbulb 2010 13GT Headlight upgrade?

Now that I've added Clearwater "Darla" lights, the OEM headlight is way to dim/dull. Are there any clear choices for upgrading the bulbs to be brighter (plug & play)?

Thanks in advance.

I just installed these in my 06 K1200GT and they are bright as hell. Not fun to install though I cant imagine a regular bulb would be easy either.

Mike it’s been a while since I owned my GT however in my opinion you have the best headlight as standard equipment on that bike that I e ever seen.
The brightness, spread and projection is brilliant.
With due respect, dont confuse the colour of the light from your Darla’s with effectiveness.
The light from your stock headlamp may appear more yellow than your auxiliary lights but I doubt very much if any bulb replacement will improve the effectiveness of what you already have.

Did you not get a bulb failure indication with these LED bulbs installed?

I did not on the headlights. Only error was with the brake / tail lights. Even though the LED's were CANBUS Error free, I did get a bulb out error and had to use a 6ohm resistor.

don't agree at all.

yes if I was looking to upgrade the xenon for dipped beam must be a lot better than the stock halogen (and the parts to fit genuine are easily about for £100 secondhand - check out ebay) 2 x halogen and the xenon dip are fantastic on main bean, but odd to see white in the middle and orange glow elsewhere.

but for dip only, very disappointing. the right colour, but the beam pattern and spread of the xenon is truly awful. Plenty of halogen only bikes have much better dipped beam

In order to get them to lock in, you need to take the headlight assembly completely out to latch the outer most wire bails. But the illumination was worth it.
