Heli bar adapter 400 mile report

Before my Heli bar adapter was installed I could not go 5 miles without my left hand going numb. It was so bad that I almost sold my 06 GT. I decided to wait until the Heli bar adapter was out and revisit the issue. I installed the adapter and over the past 4 days I have logged 400 miles with no issue. The adapter permanently positions your bars in the full up position and puts them 1 inch closer to the rider. My tank bag does not get in the way and I did not have to make any cable or line adjustments.

Hands

The handling was strange for about 10 min. But since then no problem. By strange I mean different to me no mechanical issue at all.

Glad to see you worked it out with the bike and didn't sell it after all. I picked mine up a week ago and have just over a 1000 miles on it and loving it.

So, two GT's in the fairfield area...whats the odds!!

I have been riding with my Heli on my GT for about three weeks and just did a 2,000 mile trip with it. It definitely makes this bike a long distance rider by putting the rider in a more upright position, which is what I got the Heli for. FYI, I am 5'10".
