Thumbs down MC Mag Best of the Year - No mention WTF??!!

OK, I just got done running through the "Best of 2006 Special Issue" by Motor Cyclist Magazine. There is absolutely no mention of the GT! At first I was absolutely infuriated, but then I noticed that there isn't even a "Sport Tourer" category either? WTF??? :wtf

They do claim that the best tour bike is the R1200RT with the alternative take being a 'wing. No mention of the KLT. They claim that the best bike of the year is the Triumph Daytona 675 (OK maybe I can understand this one although not agree).

I really do not understand this one. The largest growing type of motorcycles is the sport tour, yet there isn't even a mention. And they ignore the GT? Even the FJR with its new transmission is conspicuously absent.

I agree

Yes, I thought the whole thing was quite odd to say the least. The RT a better tourer than an LT or Gold Wing? I don't think so. And no sport-tourer category, what a joke!
