Sound goes thru intercom. Too bad speakers are not mounted in the bike like my old R1200RT. Anyone has a solution for it ?

Michael,

Any idea if this is a BMW option, or was some resourceful owner smart enough to retro-fit a R1200RT radio into the new GT?

My sources tell me that a radio option for the GT may (or may not) show up next spring (April timeframe).

It looks like the one I put in my '02 RT, which I was never pleased with. A real PIA for bridging out the audio for the intercom compared to the LT. It was what put me over the edge and on to XM.

I wonder where they put the little LCD display?
