07 GT Radio Pictures

These pictures were recently posted on k1200gt.de. I haven't heard anything at all about this anywhere. What do you guys think - are these the real deal or someone doing a really good aftermarket installation? I'm guessing its an aftermarket job - would love to be proved wrong though! Couldn't see speakers in any of the photos either and the radio itself doesn't seem to be the right 'fit' for the glovebox to be a factory install.

Michael Bense of www.k1200gt.de posted this the other day.

Because it's the cassette version of the old R1100RT radio, I am thinking this is a custom job. I'm hoping Michael (or anyone else) can find out more about this particular setup.

My sources tell me that the GT "might" have a radio option next spring. April was the timeframe that was mentioned.

Thanks El Jeffe. Sorry about the double post - must have missed the earlier one during my daily checks of the forum!

a waste...

It's pretty amazing the advancements just in the past 5 years on motorcycle radio, music and communications.
With MP3, XM/Sat Recievers and the new GPS units.....seems it's a waste to add regular radio and cassette.
