BMW Boots + Metzler Z6 + K1200GT = WOW!

I may need some new boots! The picture below came as a result of 74 mph on a decreasing radius turn on ramp marked for 30 mph that connects the end of 441 to 41 South in Appleton WI (some of the locals on this board will know the ramp well).

I wasn't watching the speedo, I was just pushing like hell on the left bar and knowing I was getting near the max for me on this turn. Then I felt the grinding on the boot and looked at the gauges. WOW!

The Z6's never yelped or acted fidgety either.

This bike continues to FRIGGIN AMAZE ME!!! It has really let me stretch my abilities and as a result, the fun factor has grown by an order of magnitude! Before this bike came out, I would not believe that you could do some of the things that have been told here with a 1200 cc tour bike!

I have to say that I am also very impressed with the BMW boots that I was wearing. Not only did they do a great job protecting my foot, but that really do have all day comfort.

Brian

I just read in the NY Times that there is a major slow down in customs in NYC, especially on containers from Germany. Something about adding 4-6 weeks for clearance.

You shoulda been at CCR. The tech session where Joe showed EVERYTHING a GT owner would want to know. It was just a terrible time. LOL!!!

Actually I wear none of the above. Those in the picture are the Allround.
