Headlight...

Anyone know what headlight bulbs are used in the new GT?

Thanks.

Great. I know a lot of people were saying the headlight could be a bit better. I have some H9 burners - which is an H9 bulb on an H7 base. Very bright stuff, I had them in my GS. No faults on the "cannabis"

I might look into the H9. But I don't agree with there being a headlight issue. I think the GT's low-beam is pretty good. It's not an HID, but it's pretty good. The high-beams are very good, IMO.

I surf around for H9. Looks like H9 bulbs will not work with our 06+ k12gt at all. The connector is complete different... Unless you have a "fix" for this

The "H9 Burner" is an H9 bulb on an H7 base.

Go here - www.rallylights.com and search for item # CP64217

These guys are great to deal with.

The stockers are 55w, so I wouldn't think 10w would be an issue, as I've known
guys that run 85 or even 100w bulbs without meltdown.

Matt - any idea on the life expectancy of the H9 burners versus the regular H7 bulbs? The rallylights page, in the discussion of high wattage bulbs, makes reference to a severly reduced operating life.
Thanks,
Bill
