BMW taller screen size

My 12GT came with the BMW taller screen, that I know is 2" taller than standard.

Does anyone know if it is also wider than the standard screen.

I want to get aCee Bailey screen and this will help me choose a size.

thanks

It is slightly (no much) wider at the sides as it comes up to the top and is 2" taller.

Wow, I want one of these. I'm 6' but long-waisted and the screen I have seems to direct the blast right at my head.

I wonder if a dealer could install and at what cost??

There are only 6 screws holding the screen on. Your hex head key tool under your seat will remove the 6 screws. It should take you about 10mins to do the job yourself. No big deal.

I give you a good deal on a BMW 'tall' screen.

Huh Steve, getting back to your question, before it was hijacked by these guys. My '06 came with the "tall" screen. I am 6' tall and properly proportioned for my height. Just bought the Cee Bailey Screen +3,+3. When in the "down position" up to where the fairing is --same as oem, above the fairing-about 1 1/2 inch wider on either side-+3. In the down position I now look over the top of the screen by about and inch or two. Taller than the oem screen, but still looking over it. The "Flip" of the CB design now pushed the air higher and I feel less buffeting at the helmet level. Raising the CB screen -just an inch or two-creates a nice pocket of still air-can hear the tires-but you are looking thru the screen. It is definitely wider and pushes the air further around you. Basically I now just keep it in the lowest position and am happy. Before, I kept moving it up and down, depending on temp, wind and rain. I am happy with my choice. OMO.

Can't help you with a height as you don't say how tall you are or what seat your using, I'am six foot with the standard Cee Bailey replacement shield and happy with it but considering the stocker for warmer months as its narrower.

It is barely wider. I replaced the "tall" BMW shield with the CB +4+2 shield. I am 6'4" and when I raise the shield about 1" off the stops I get a quiet pocket and I am still looking over the shield. I don't like looking through them, and I find raising a shield too much distorts the purpose.
