roadside repair question

This is a web link from BMW's motorrad web site and in it there is a thread on roadside maintenance.

I haven't talked to a dealer about this does anyone know if it is available in the U.S. It seems like a good alternative to worrying about going on a trip and having something break. If the dealers can't determine what's wrong with the high idle, jerky response maybe the roadside assistance guy can figure it out.

Just a thought...anyone use this service?

In the US, all new BMW motorcycles come with a 3 year membership to Cross Country Motor Club roadside assistance package. You get your card in the mail soon after you get your bike.

Bugger, we only get two years cover in Australia. (Unlimited KMS though)
Do the US / UK / European members get a complimentary subscription to the BMW magazine? (Just wondering, as we don't.)

Best wishes all.
