Thumbs up

Hey Bill,

You and I are neighbors.

I have a Delphi SkyFi II and I am using a ram ball in the threaded hole under the handlebars. I then have a short and a long ram extender with the ram "barbell" between them. I had purchased the little plate that the antenna sticks to as well. It works great.

I have temporarily hooked up a cigarette lighter socket directly to the battery for power. I intend to get the Centec AP-1 when the budget allows.

A warning about the XM: When riding through heavily wooded areas, such as the Sierra's, the reception can be patchy.

Pete

Did you get your ball mounts from Ventura BMW and do you have any pictures?

I purchased all of my mount pieces from Cycle Gadgets. I have shown the set-up to Colin and Jules at Ventura and I believe they have some of the parts in stock.

Here is a link:

In addition I purchased the barbell, antenna mount and a second arm.
