Anyone Make This?

Looking for a K12GT specific soft bag for the 'rack' so that when I ride without the LARGE topcase I have someplace to put 'stuff'. Anyone know of a soft-bag, GT specific that holds its shape fairly well and attaches well; not some cobbed up affair with bungees?

The short answer is no. At least not one that I have found - and I have been doing a lot of looking.

The next best thing to a GT specific bag that mounts on the rack was this offering by Aeorstich. It is designed to ride on the pillion or rear rack and looks to be pretty heavy duty. Most of all, not cobbled together. But then again, not designed for the GT either.

Thanks Brian . . . I checked the website, as well as Chicane, and Aerostitch's a bit bigger than I wanted. I have, well, not a garage full, but a few bags I have bought over the years that while professing to be universal the best compliment I can give is that they all UNIVERSALLY do not fit well and just are a series of lousy Velcro tabs and/or bungees.

Thanks for your efforts . . . guess you are looking too. I have the large topcase but without it seems like I just need a little more storage. And, I am not in love with the small topcase.

YOU ARE THE MAN John! Thanks so much . . . off to Touratech's site. Damn, I didn't even think of the 12RT as the answer; damn 4 cylinder snobs give no respect to the venerable boxer!

Wow John thanks! I seem to forget that there are some things that are the same on the RT as the GT. I never would have thunk to look there.

THANKS!

This isn't Gt specific, but I've seen several local guys using them on sport bikes, and it might be worth considering for those occasions when you want a sporty look, and still be able to carry a rain jacket. It fastened to the rear seat, I think. It looks very cool on the bike.

John,

Can you verify that part number? That doesn't appear to be a correct BMW part number format.
