Replacing rear light bulb

Has anyone had to replace a rear/brake bulb yet?
It looks like the light cover comes off via screws on the exterior of the bike as opposed to from within the tail section, correct? Anyone know what bulbs it takes?
Thanks.

I had the 'Warning' picture come up on the display on my ride into work today, and was hoping to maybe get some 'useable' information while at work, to maybe pick up a bulb on the way home, I guess maybe I was hoping for too much.

I'll post info after I obtain it. BTW bike has 14.6k miles.

Pull the two screws and then tug the tailight straight out. That's all there is to it. You can do it in the parking lot of the auto parts store and replace right then and there.

BTW, the light sockets twist to the left to remove from the tialight itself.

What was that middle thang?
