I have waving rules...

1) I never wave at squids. I think their inherent inability to wear any safety gear is stupid and I do not recognize them as a motorcyclist by waving at them.

2) As mentioned in the video, I do not wave when I pass a biker going in the same direction as me.

3) If the wave is going to happen in an area that I should be more concentrated on riding - no wavie.

Other than that, it is a modified "Harley Wave" for me.

I would add to this excellent list -

4) When it is clear that the oncoming rider has never listened to Ben Fold's "There's always someone cooler than you"

Passed a guy like this today. I think I ran into the chip on his shoulder a half mile before i saw him.

It's amazing to see video from other countries where people can drive fast, use the shoulder and ignore traffic and traffic signs without regard on a bike. What's up with that?

Good find, Greg!
