100% 07 In early september. Guess I could have waited till it got closer to winter and tried to deal, but the riding has been so fantastic, have about 1500 miles and that would have been closer to 2k had I not had to do several buisness trips.....

I also paid close to 100%. A few hundred knocked off. I did get a free, large BMW top case, 600 mile service, 2nd key and a purdy good discount on the extended warranty. Oh yeah, 10% off of merchandise, not parts, helmets, riding gear, etc.

What was that middle thang?

Also paid 100% for a September delivery. Got a big story from the dealer about the bikes being in short supply, etc. I notice, however, that there are several dealers with GTs in stock...so I am not sure that this story was the real thing.

Still, very glad I bought it when I did. Have almost 1000 miles so far...

I bought an 06 3 weeks ago for about 2 grand less than the price on the 07 GT. That included the 28L topcase and my first 2 service visits - and a spare key too. The only difference was the power assist brakes whick I'm used to and rather fond of from my 12GS.

In the neighborhood of a 7.5% discount on an 07 with a pretty strong option list. I believe that the bikes are in plentiful supply.

Basically 100%, ended up getting a couple hundred off but no biggie. Seriously, with what I've paid for bikes and when I was looking at in the same price range you get a HELL of a lot of bike for the money with the K1200GT.

Power. Capable, confident, usuable
Heated seats and grips (how did I live before this???!!!)
ESA (fucking awesome)
On board computer (which, though not a big deal is a really nice feature missing on a lot of bikes)
Adjustable windscreen (again, how did I live before this???!!!)
Did I mention pure "on" visceral power - this bike down right is sexual
Quality - the bike is S-O-L-I-D
Impeccible engineering
Comfort - I've never been on a bike that when I'm done riding I can't tell I was riding (if that makes sense)

Okay, sure the FJR shesh-JR... whatever I'm here to tell you that I've never been as content with a purchase ever, like I am with this machine. If you rationalize something else is "just as good" you are deluding yourself. What else is there?

I paid 100% on a 06 GT in June. I got a discount on my 49L top case, extended warranty, no setup or prep charge and a discount on parts purchased.
