New Horn Install

I wanted to defer to the pros here before I ordered. Is it possible to properly install this Fiamm Freeway Blaster Horn on the GT? Specifically,

1) Can it be properly wired?

2) If 'yes' to #1 - Where would you put it?

Thanks,
Brian

Brian,

No help right now but I'm going to do the same thing as soon as I get my bike back late next month. I'm not going to take any chances with the install though and power the horns through my Canbus Helper and a separate relay triggered by the original horn wiring. I'll post the install when I get it finished.

Maybe some else has already installed mother of all get the hell out of the way horns.

well...
we've been studying this one for months
the guys at my shop.... who've mounted a new horn on ALL of my previous bikes...
when the '07GT was apart could NOT find A SINGLE PLACE to put that horn

NO where at all
El Jeffe/Jeff has had a similiar experience

i don't kow what to do
i ALWAYS use an aftermarket horn
i do NOT use the horn much
but.... when i want to be heard, i WANT to be heard (just like the rest of us)

when/if any of you can find a VIABLE horn solution, i GUARANTEE that 25 of us will do the SAME INSTALL in a day... and will be ETERNALLY GRATEFUL to the folks who solve this puzzle

Do you have the new ABS system, Greg? If so, it looks like there is cavernous amounts of space in from of that.

On the other hand, I do know what you mean. The front of the bike is pretty tight.

i DO have the new system
but, my guys tell me that there is NOT more room where a horn might be installed
i thought the same thing.... surprised that NO SERVO EQUIPMENT was in the area where one would put a horn

maybe we can mount them OUTSIDE like truck horns on top of a semi

Only if we could install a chain pull to activate it as well!

For all the fellas with single horns wanting more *HONK*....

BMW Dual Horns ( either from RT/LT ) fit PERFECTLY above the ABS modulator on the LH side of the bike.

Simply buy the following:

61 33 7 655 882 Horn
61 33 7 655 881 Horn
83 30 0 402 342 Wiring harness adapter ( allows hooking two horns in through single OEM horn connector

All parts run about $80

Excellent! Thanks for the tip. I have to say that the OEM horns on my 03 RT were quite acceptable, so this could be the ticket.
