Finally on order - blue 07 due mid Nov.

Wife's birthday present to me is 07 KGT half paid for....dealer where I had ridden one on a demo is expecting their next one mid November...it's mine.

Moving from Dayton, OH to Greensboro NC...started work there last week. Guys say they commute with their bikes all year around. It will be nice to be able to ride all year around.

When I get it I'll post some pics.

Wife already contacted the dealer and ordered the large top case. I'll have to call them and see if they can paint it.

Great forum....I like the rants and the raves....

Cheers.

Got to get back to painting the house.....FOR SALE - 1 home in Dayton, OHIO

thanks for the well wishes - wifes comment on bike

Wife questioned how I was going to get the bike from Athens OH to Greensboro NC.

Since I am staying at a Motel until we find a rental house..she questioned if the bike would be safe in the parking lot. I wonder about this as well - even cables can be cut if I chain it to a tree.

She is really concerned that I will be in good riding weather while she is in the cold and I'll be riding without her.

What's a guy to do?

Thinking about getting the bike and leaving it in the garage in Dayton. I will be going back home every weekend as we get the house ready to sell. Then if the weather is above 40's and the sun is out - she and I can go for some short rides.

If I buy heated vests with the seat heater we should be able to ride as long as the roads are clear.

Then when we find a rental (with a garage) she will be more likely to agree to take the bike south.

What would you guys/gals do? Take it south or leave it in the Dayton garage?

Cheers.

Take it south. You'll go insane knowing it's there and you aren't.

What was that middle thang?
