Handlebars 06 R1200Rt VS 06 K1200GT

Anybody know if these two bikes have the same hadlebar mount? I'm renting an RT next week during vacation and am wondering if I can fit my mount for my GT to it for the trip (uses the two screws that hold the panel to cover the adjusters on the bottom side.)

No, they're totally different. The RT uses two metal ninety degree brackets to hold the GPS, vs the plastic one on the GT (at least it did on the NAV II).

Different as night and day. But, what are you mounting, a GPS? I rent RTs on travel and just bring velcro tape and mount it "creatively".
