11 deg is getting cold!

In continuing my commitment to ride at least one day every month this winter, I found some time today and went for it.

This is one day after about 8" of snow hit our area, but the roads are mostly clear. I just had to be careful of the lingering ice spot. The ones I did hit weren't too bad, and the ABS did it's job at some intersections.

I have to say that even with the 'stich, and a few layers, 3 finger gloves, neck warmer, etc. and the grips and seat on high, I got a bit chilly. I didn't take the time to figure the wind chill but I bet @ 70mph and 11 deg it is down there.

Again, I want to say that my GT (with 6.0) did not do it's normal bucking at low speed. I am convinced that the cold air has something to do with it.

Anyway - 65 miles today...

The lowest I've ridden much in (commuted for 20 to 30 minutes each way) was -16C (ummmmm, gimme a minute, ummmmmm, that'd be, ummmmmmm, that's about 3F). Wearing a 'stich and some insulation, no heating, on a VFR800.
