Headlight wiring question
Last night I tore the bike apart again to add the wiring for my auxiliary fuel cell transfer pump and solenoid valve. I'm taking care of a bunch of other wiring while I'm at it (V1, CB, etc).
Has anyone discovered which color wire is used for the high beam?
I had the left switch housing apart and determined that it's the white wire on the center pole that is the switched control signal. I was unable to trace that one back out through the harness. It doesn't show up at the same connector block as the rest of the left switch cluster wires.
I started looking at the multi-pin connector that plugs into the headlight assembly. Then it got late and I called it a night.
I'm looking to tap off the highbeam power lead with a FET switch so as not to put any appreciable extra load on the CANbus lamp current sensor.
