Father and son

Today I got to get out with my son on his new '07 GT just like mine!! Gee, was that fun! We went out the Ortega Highway to the I-15, then south to the 76, then west back to the I-5. He lives in Carlsbad, so we split there. I went north and he went south.

For some reason, I still can't upload a pic directly with my post, but I can post the pics into the members' gallery.

...looks just like me, huh?...

I'm jealous, Chuck. I can't even get my 14y/o to RIDE with me, let alone think about getting him his own motorcycle some day.
You look like you both are having a great time. Enjoy it!

Chuck, seems the old addage the nut does not drop far from the tree is somewhat appropriate. You truely are one "cool" dad! Nice bike(s), good sense of humor and uses the Internet too. What son could pass on an opportunity to hang out when his father is like that? You done good!

Very nice pic there, Chuck. A proud Papa about to burst those leathers and I don't blame you!

I've got two smaller children, one of which is a six year old boy who is a total great little guy to hang with. Am hoping to post a similar pic one day but for the moment the wife is the biggest sticking point.

Was thinking of starting another thread in the general Bike Talk area asking for help when the SO is against me getting a bike to begin with.

Again, very nice picture of the two of you. And hey, not bad bikes either!!!

Regards,

David
