I love this bike

Except for the stock seat, I love this bike and the stock seat isn't bad for short 50 mile trips. As it is now, my HD Glide is just gathering dust. Seriously considering selling the Glide, keep the Deuce and ride the GT. Took it out today, three trips, 20% chance of rain and got hammered twice, love that fairing!! bike is GREAT in the rain, and I HATE rain.

The only thing keeping the Glide in the garage right now is a trip to Taos in a couple of weeks, don't think I want to try that on this stock seat. Contacted the dealer about the "new" seat, still waiting for a response, if no answer, I'll order a Sargent Wed. but don't know if I can get it in time for Taos.

Edit, wrong forum. Meant for the new GT, Exellence in motion

sargent?

u wont get much more out of the sargent. it is a small improvement over the stock seat. if u want the seat to NEVER be a problem again, get a russell. it's like sitting in your easy chair watching history channel. trust me. been there, done that.

I'm having trouble getting over the looks of the seat. I guess I could close my eyes until I get on the bike.

There are a lot of good reports on the Sargent and it looks like it belongs on the GT. The verdict it still out on the "new" GT seat, today is the drop dead date waiting for my dealer to make an offer on one.

You're not sitting on your eye's are you !!! :p
Seriously, I find there is so much more to enjoy on this bike without squirmming and wriggling around to re-adjust yourself whilst riding.

Call me ole' fashioned, but I'm into substance over symbolism/ function over form always taking the long way home from work now.
