New tires

I installed some new Conti Road Attacks yesterday. Believe it or not, the leetle owner's manual had all the info to do the job. No having to fire up the laptop and work it with filthy hands in the gearage.

The scariest part was using the Pit Bull stand for the first time. If the bike had gone over, it would have been crunch time.

I won a Harbor Freight tire change machine with motocycle attachment on Ebay for 49 bucks. What a great deal! Then, the steenkeen shipping they charged me wiped it all out. It turned out to be useless for the GT wheel as the slope of the wheel won't allow it catch and it kept popping out. I finally got pissed off and just did it by hand using a 16" square 2x4 box I shot together.

The rear wheel kaputin ees goneski

And the new and the old, there was one mm of thread left in the center of the rear tire.

I haven't had a chance to run them yet, but I will today.

Look at the shiny glare on that new tire! And they say that they don't use any release agents!
