Smile My new Corbins!

Hey all,

Well after finally getting the seat heater delivered, my local BMW dealer sent me on my way to Hollister, CA. About 120 miles away for me. I left 0500 hours all interstate to the "Shop of Wizards" and after a great breakfast, courtesy of Corbin, a "wizard" named George started his magic at 0700 sharp. After a few adjustments to the seat foam I was on my way at noon. I headed south down Airline Hwy (Hwy25) out of Hollister then left on Hwy 198 into Coalinga. Easily one of California’s best bike roads. Absolutely nothing but me and about 10 other bikes the whole way! Here are some pics!

Half way down 25, it was time to take some pics and smell the grass. 30 mins went by before the first traffic came bye (bikes). I left 10 mins later, still no traffic!

Oh yeah....the seats!

Well either they are still out riding or they are so embarassed about a bad purchase they don't want to comment. . I've been to the "plant" although I haven't purchased one of their products. Nice location, nice shop.

Question:
Do the Corbin seats now come integrated to the BMW heat system? And are they now adjustable or still non-adjustable?

A little hard from the stock POS seat. Having a Corbin on my KLR it was the same way for about 1000 miles until it "Broke In". With about 400 miles on it now it is breaking in very nicely. I love the firm support of the Corbin. I am goin for 250 ride Sunday up thru Sequioa and Kings Nat'l Park with my K1200R buddy. Then a 400 ride Monday up into Yosemite. Can't wait.

WHen i was havin my seat made there was a R1200GS rider havin his Corbin re shaped. He had about 2500 on it and it wasn't workin for him. I guess if i ever decide mine doesn't feel right i will have to take run to Hollister out Hwy 198 to Hwy 25, oh darn! Sounds like a good excuse to call in sick.
