Don't Know if it's a Keeper or Not ?

New Bags Connection "Vina" Quick Lock Tankbag. My first Gascap Mount. Been using the Marsee with straps. However, this quick lock system is pretty cool. No fuss. Low maintenance.

I gotta learn to accept change....Where are my meds?

I opted not to go with a tank bag for the first time when I purchased by 06 KGT because the bag overwhelmed the cockpit area. Yours looks like a nice compromise.

My therapist keeps telling me change is good.

As tank bags go I'd say you made a nice choice.

BeemerDude,

I'm interested in this tankbag. I tried the "Engage" model on my GT, but because I have the Heli bar adapter installed, the bars made contact with the bag long before full lock. Do you think I might have the same problem with the Vina?

Thanks.

Probably not. The width is only 8 inches. Where as your Engage-EL is 12 inches.
This bag to be utilizes as a small day trip bag. Good luck

john, good point. Tank bags are a "love hate thing" for me as well. Very convenient, yet, have to be stylish or sporty enough to mount on the bike. Why is it looks comes before functionality? Opps, another med please!

Follow up: I think you proved the importance of "styling" when you did the Corbin set up, i.e., the smuggler, on your GT. Very nice indeed. Later,
