Navigator III and Garmin 2820

What is the difference between the two units? I know the Nav III is based on the 2820. Also does either unit have a slot for an SD card or some other removable memory?

Garmin 2820 Memory Size

How much total memory is in the 2820? Is there enough memory, after the preinstalled North America maps, to load the map of Europe?

The 2820 has 2 Gig of space. My guess is you don't have room. I have about 75 songs on the mp3 and with the pre load there is only about half a gig left. For the record the sound quality on the mp3 is great. I've been mapping routes for the last couple of days for the MOA VT on the computer. Very easy to map and very quick on the transfer to the unit
