What does webupdater do? Update firmware or map software?

It pulls firmware updates from the web and loads them onto your Garmin GPS.

Thanks. I may try it on my Map60CS. Think I'll leave the Nav III the way it is for now as it is brand new.

Seemed to work fine on my Map60CS. I had never updated it before and there were sure a lot of updates that webupdater found to load.
My Mac is a G4 Powerbook. On an intel mac, can you install Windows (Bootcamp) and then install Garmin sofware on the Windows side and use it okay? My Nav III came pre-loaded but I do have the software disk too (mapsource plus City Navigator or whatever the Nav III uses, I guess). If I had an intel mac, I am wondering if I could install the Nav III software on the Windows side okay and use it from there.
