Question Nav III software in a car

Gentlemen,

In my BMW 525 there is a special slot for navigation disk. Is it possible to use the software from Nav III there? Will it work? Or I have to buy another soft for the car as my dealer told me. I doubt.
Or maybe you can provide me with a link to a BMW cars i-net discussion board.
Would be much appreciated.
TIA

Take care!

Generally, BMW car nav systems use Navteq discs. You can try their website to order a replacement DVD. The Nav III software will not work.
