Question How to rain/water proof a V1? Help appreciated

I can't seem to find the site, but somewhere in my searches, I thought, I found a site that sold a rainproofing cover for the V1. The V1 site indicates there is no such animal but I swore I saw something several months ago. Any help would be appreciated

Thanks
Robert

I do not have one of these but I saw them a while ago.

This should keep it dry, but it will take up some space.

I use a zip lock bag. The bag can be zipped up minus the small opening for the cord. Never had a problem. Very inexpensive solution too!

Robert,

Are you thinking of the LockR products from Hoon Hardware?

Rain Proofing the VAL 1

I just use a "veggie" shower cap for the VAL 1. Now, how about the Remote Audio Adapter? It is not waterproof and I have it mounted underneath the right side faring, but it would certainly get wet in a downpour. VAL 1 also says they have no suggestions.

I use a baggie type protection also. Don't know of anything else that will fit with the V1 and the audio adapter.

Thanks
Robert

Another option, which I have used in some horrific downpours (standing water up to the footpegs at one point) is this one also from Legal Speeding:http://www.legalspeeding.com/products.htm#RC. I did a double layer of heavy duty saran wrap on the remote audio unit before I fastened it to the bike. It has worked well so far.

I didn't like the way the "coffin" looked on my bike, so I made a box. Used plexiglass, glued with krazy glue and to make sure I sealed the inside joints with clear silicone

Yeah, I know, I've already heard about putting that homemade piece of shit on the bike.

What was that middle thang?
