Any undetectable radar detectors?

In Australia radar detectors are not allowed and the police will pull you over if they detect that you have one. Are there any radar detaectors which cannot be detected by police?

Radar detectors

If it puts out a signal it will be detected, confiscated, and turned into a radar detector detector. The fine was $2000, doubt that it has got cheaper. The one mentioned here will not go unnoticed.

I have just read about the Beltronics STi driver radar detector. It says this is the only one which cant be detected. I might try connecting it to a battery outside my car or bike and checking the reaction of a few radars which are always used on the weekends at the same spots in my area. I,m told it is not illegal to own one ,just to use one on the road, is this right?

The Beltronics STi driver has been tested against the spectre 3 and didnt get picked up. From what Ive read it is the only one at the moment. Before I put one on the bike I will do a few "experiments" with it to see if the local radars pick it up.

Bel has turned out the "Bel STi Driver" since 2004 and that is the only one that shoots down the radar-detector detector ability of Stalker's Spectre III.

That stealth ability will cost you a hefty $450 price tag though. You might want to watch the video demo (Videos tab) on the following link: Bel STi Driver link

I'm sure you also noted that there was no indication in the fine print regarding the date the page was last updated.
