Lidatek LE-30 Lidar jammer in California?

So they made it a law to outlaw laser jammers in California and a few other states (i.e. Virginia, Washington DC, Minnesota, and Utah that I know of). With the CA CHP moving to Lidar at a pretty quick clip around here, it sort of makes me want to own one more - if you know what I mean. Kind'a like telling the fat lady she can't have more candy.

The Lidatek LE-30 seems pretty cool and can be concealed pretty well on the bike. It warns you, visually and audibly, and then gives you 5 seconds to slow down once you're hit with the Lidar unit before goes into the "unjam mode" and rats you out and gives the officer a readout on your speed to keep from drawing undue suspicion from him.

That said, I don't know if they will ship this high-tech farkle to California. If not, I may have it shipped to a dealer in Nevada where they are allowed and let them install it at the 6000 miler.

Typical ethics aside, anyone got one and how do you like it? I may move to Nevada.

Looks very interesting. Of course, being a California resident, I would NEVER use it in this fine state...only turn it on where it is legal .

Check out the M5 forum, they always do group buys of these things, and I'm certain they have plenty of opinions. IIRC, they did an LE30 buy when it came out.

I have a Lidatek LE10 sitting in the garage, it was phenomenal on my last bike. The new guns report being jammed by it, so it's less useful nowadays.

I also have an LE20 now that I think about it. Hmm, should find and sell it...

Good laser jammers work. Jamming to the gun is a bad idea IMHO, and I like the Lidatek 5 second rule. If I can't slow down enough in 5 seconds, better pin the throttle (leave it pinned?) and hope! LOL
