fox intercom question

Anyone had or used a fox throat mike? suppose to have no wind noise....

Fox...

I purchased the road warrior set for a trip to Colorado. Letís say that there is no wind noise but there is a lot of noise if your jacket or clothing touches the throat piece is going to make a lot of clanking sounds. :wtf
The devise has to be put on and tested before getting in to the bike. If the mics. are not in the right place you wonít understand what the other person is saying. I notice that youíll have to run the wire under you shirt so the shirt neck wonít get in the way of the mics.
Also I found out that the speed does affect the quality of the communication, even if you donít hear the wind noise the air hitting your neck will make it vibrate and distort your voice making it hard to understand.
In the other hand the ear pieces protects you well from wind noise and you can listen to music by plugging an mp3 player to the road warrior receptor witch is a nice option.

Your perception of the functionally of the product depends on how well you put it on, you need to practice before you use it in your ride. And this may take a while. :wtf
