Faint Alt Light

I rode the 90 k75S tonight and noticed a dim glow in the alt warning light. When I cut the grip heat off it goes away.

"They all do that."

There's a fix where you can put a small resistor or diode or something in there to make it go away but I just ignored it on my K75RT.

+ 1 on what Flying Duck said.
Check out this page for your answer: http://www.ibmwr.org/ktech/charge-light-glow.shtml
I repaired the annoying problem by splicing the diode into the blue wire at the electrical junction box (there is a little more room in the box).
