Different Handlebar Switch on 88 K100

Replacing a right continuous light switch on my 88 k100, I found a new one at a decent price. The part numbers matched but when attempting to install it looks like the ends are different. Any one have any ideas? The old one is rectangle and the new one square with bigger pins.

I've seen a lot of K bike switches but never one like that. Is there a part number printed on the new one?

Thats the plugs from under the tank, to the right handlebar switch of my 88 k100lt. Both numbers on the old and new one are the same but I am now told that they are from a 2v and a 4valve. Someone must have put a newer wiring harness on my bike, hence the newer plug.

I have a confusing bike anyway, It is a 88 k100LT with the electric windscreen from a later 1100.

The connector on the right in your pic is the normal one for a 2V K bike. The one on the left didn't come from a K75, a K100 or a K1100.

The switch connectors for 4V Ks are black and two pins wide as shown below.
