Cool Back on a K-bike.

Been nearly a year without a BMW K-bike in the stable. Just picked up a 1985 K100 from local Craigslist. 21k mi. dead battery, supposely runs. I will find out soon enough.

Question

Thanks for the invite, not likely I will attend since I'm in a different continent.

Anyone in North America know of an on-line source for steel braided brake lines for early K-bikes?

Tried Speigler, Galfer, Goodridge.. but no specific fitment offered for early K-bike.
HEL has specific kits for early K-bike, but not available in the US, have to purchase from overseas.

I have Speigler braided brake lines on my 85 K100RS. They have a kit for sure. They can custom make length if you use a different bar at no extra cost.

Give them a call. They will have what you need.

Or call Bob's BMW

They have them made up, I had them add an extra inch - makes a huge difference in brake feel for the better!
