some guys have all the luck!
Yes, I own a black and yellow 1991 BMW K1 and a 2003 white and blue K1200RS (Zebra). The K12 is my bike for daily use, the K1 for sports. IMHO the K1 is easier to ride and on a track with a lot of curves faster than the K12. The K1 has been my day-to-day bike for a long time and it gives me more confidence than the K12. Diving while braking is no disadvantage to me - I like it when the frontwheel is planted firmly on the tarmac. Also the K12 is top-heavy to me. My K1 has a Bilstein rear shock, runs on Bridgestone BT020's and has ABS (1). I fell with it in the beginning of this year and had a lot of trouble finding all the spare parts I needed. Still, it is running again and I like it!

If you can laugh at your own stupidities, you have fun all year round!
BMW K1 '91 for sports, BMW K1200RS '03 for touring, Honda CB750K '80 for winter.
