new to Bmw

Got a 1991 K100rs today and got rid of the ducati 750ss. Now I can ride all day and not be wore out from the riding position. Only thing I really dont care for is the exhaust note and how it sounds like a sewing machine. May look around to see if there is something for that.

Sound is subjective

I had an 85 K100RS and it came with an aftermarket exhaust - I found that the louder pipes were annoying and tiring, so went back with the OE exhaust. I like the quiet ride.

I had one of the pipes crack and come completely loose. Looks like my exhaust was on its last legs. (39k) I had a D&D muffler laying around so it got welded up late today. Good sound in the garage. Will have to get out on the highway tomorrow. Hope it works.
