k75 'braking' down

Hey all, thanks in advance for your help.
I have a 93 k75. Recently rebuilt rear caliper and noticed that pads were dragging on release of rear brake. Going to renew master cylinder seals hoping that it closes system and I get proper action in rear caliper.

Anyone here have experience with pads dragging AFTER the caliper rebuild(seals/dustcover renewal)?

I just assumed its master cylinder related as I am leaking a little fluid on press of lever.
