1985 BMW K75C project

I am about to start a project to repair a 1985 K75C from a front end crash. It appears the frame may be bent. I have sourced a frame and forks from a 94 RT. From what I can tell by looking at the online parts Fiche the frame is the same but I cannot tell for sure about the forks. Are there any websites that break down the compatibility of the early to late K bike?
I have restored numerous airheads, this is my first endeavor into K bikes. Any information would be greatly appreciated!!
thanks,
dan

K75's got a Fichtel & Sachs sport fork up to 08/91, later models have a Showa fork......F&S 41,3 mm dia., Showa 41,0 mm.

AFAIK it should be OK when you changing the complete fork with triple trees.
But it's also different brake hoses and fittings, early version runs through the steering stem...later on the outside.
