handelbar change

gday I have just purchased a 1985 k100 RS after my K100 RT bit the dust. took it on a 1000km run and my back is not good I am thinking of putting the RT bars onto the RS is it a straight swap or do I have to change the cabling and brake line as well? Any thoughts

If Bar-Backs don't help with the problem, I would seriously consider getting a different bike.
