k752 mystery spring

I removed the belly pan from my K75S to change the oil and found this thing lying on top of it. It's small - maybe a little smaller than a dime.

Any idea where it came from?

There is nothing on/in the engine that looks like that. It could be the spring for the footpeg as that is similar to what you are showing.

Looks like PN 46531454058, RETAINER SPRING on the side stand. $2.84

This is one of my favorite bells and whistle features on my '91 K75, the auto retracting side stand when the clutch lever is first engaged.

- Although, long time ago the whole assembly dropped off.
