I told you to check the coolant because in your initial post, you commented that the oil was "more hot than normal". The early K's only had an overtemp light and you will never see it until it is overtemped- with the age of these machines, maybe it is not working.
How do you remove the oil filter without draining the entire sump? We are talking about an early K100, right?
Your oiling system should be working normally or within a few km's the engine would seize from lack of oil.
I can't explain your sightglass going dark when the oil is not dark. The sightglass glass should be perfectly clear when no oil is showing. Maybe you are seeing some sludge that deposited during the long lay up and will take several hot oil changes to clear.
